چکیده
This work aims to propose an efficient MPS/FEM coupling method for the simulation of fluid–structure interaction (FSI), where MPS and FEM are respectively employed account fluid flows structural deformation. The main idea our is develop a multi-scale multi-resolution simulations in context coupling. In developed method, domain discretized into particles different resolutions before calculation, close interest will be high resolution, while rest low resolution. A large particle interacting with small divided several virtually, weight functions redefined maintain stability. bucket-sort-based algorithm fast search neighboring particles. capacity newly proposed ghost cell boundary model further enhanced, so as accurately treat wall problems resolutions. On this basis, coupled FSI simulations. Finally, numerical examples conducted demonstrate accuracy efficiency development method.

Thermoelastic Interaction in a Three-Dimensional Layered Sandwich Structure
The present article investigates the thermoelastic interaction in a three-dimensional homogeneous and isotropic sandwich structure using the dual-phase-lag (DPL) model of generalized thermoelasticity. The incorporated resulting non-dimensional coupled equations are applied to a specific problem in which a sandwich layer of unidentical homogeneous and isotropic substances is subjected to time-de...
متن کاملConvergence analysis of a new BEM–FEM coupling method for two dimensional fluid–solid interaction problems
We present a new numerical method, based on a coupling of finite elements and boundary elements, to solve a fluid–solid interaction problem posed in the plane. The boundary unknowns involved in our formulation are approximated by a spectral method. We provide error estimates for the Galerkin method, propose fully discrete schemes based on elementary quadrature formulas and show that the perturb...
متن کاملNitsche’s method for two and three dimensional NURBS patch coupling
We present a Nitche’s method to couple non-conforming two and three-dimensional NURBS (Non Uniform Rational B-splines) patches in the context of isogeometric analysis (IGA). We present results for linear elastostatics in two and and three-dimensions. The method can deal with surface-surface or volume-volume coupling, and we show how it can be used to handle heterogeneities such as inclusions. W...
متن کاملINTUITIONISTIC FUZZY DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS FOR MULTI-CRITERIA DECISION MAKING
Dimensional analysis, for multi-criteria decision making, is a mathematical method that includes diverse heterogeneous criteria into a single dimensionless index. Dimensional Analysis, in its current definition, presents the drawback to manipulate fuzzy information commonly presented in a multi-criteria decision making problem. To overcome such limitation, we propose two dimensional analysis ba...
متن کاملA resolution measure for three-dimensional microscopy.
A three-dimensional (3D) resolution measure for the conventional optical microscope is introduced which overcomes the drawbacks of the classical 3D (axial) resolution limit. Formulated within the context of a parameter estimation problem and based on the Cramer-Rao lower bound, this 3D resolution measure indicates the accuracy with which a given distance between two objects in 3D space can be d...
